Why convert your AZW or AZW3 to PDF on PDFDocks?
AZW and AZW3 books are proprietary Amazon Kindle formats, designed to be read on their devices or official apps. Converting them to PDF makes them readable in any standard reader. The conversion requires uploading the file to our server because these formats cannot be read with JavaScript alone in your browser — we process them with Calibre. It's important you know about one real limitation upfront: many books purchased from the Kindle store have DRM protection, and Calibre cannot and should not remove that protection. If your file has DRM, the conversion will fail — this isn't a flaw in our tool, it's a legal and technical restriction of the format itself.
What AZW formats are supported?

Does it work with books purchased from the Kindle Store?

Will images and formatting be preserved?

The most common reason is DRM protection. Calibre doesn't remove this type of protection, so protected books cannot be converted with this tool.
